Question
my 2001 chevy mailbu had bad gas back in aug it was drained and beeded filled back up and ran for a while. then i moved up to ak and bout a month a go i had someone go pick it up and they where going to send it up to me but they ran the car down to half a tnk of gas and it didnt start they put 7 gallons of gas in it the nozzle on the pump said full the gage said full it started it gets to half a tank it wont start over half it starts what could be wrong please help

Hello Chris, This would tell me that the tank is empty at 1/2 full. This could be from the people that did the gas tank draining or it has a bad level sensor in the tank. Either way the tank needs to come back out and the float adjusted or replaced.
