Chicago Cubs/Strippers

Question
Joe,

Don`t you think that the Cubs should have strippers as cheerleaders along the foul lines to cheer for the Cubs and distract the other teams?  I think so.  By the way, why haven`t you called me in Little Rock?  I miss you.

Answer
Tub,
I strongly disagree with strippers at Wrigley.  Maybe that would fly in your state, but Illinois is a family state that loves the National pasttime.  I am disgusted with your lack of thought behind that statement.

I never recieved your phone number after I quietly woke up, tiptoed out the door, and ran like hell.  It must have been some sort of mix up.  One that I pay for daily.  (By the way, do not respond with your number, because Illinois was hit with a huge Lightning Storm yesterday, Storm Andrews, and no telephone power will be available until probably after 2005.  By that tiem you will be way too old for me.)

I have followed every single Cubs game since 1986. Games I have missed watching on television (few), I have followed up in the daily Chicago Tribune, and the daily news telecasts. I have seen the Cubs live in Wrigley Field over 250 times, including road trips to Milwaukee and Saint Louis. My 10 favorite players/personalities (in order) are: Harry Caray, Shawon Dunston, Sammy Sosa, Andre Dawson, Ryne Sandberg, Kerry Wood, Corey Patterson, Manny Alexander, Jon Lieber, and Jody Davis. I attended Dawson`s last game as a Cub, was at Yosh Kawano Day in 1997, and have witnessed many of Sosa`s long blasts into history.
