[ About Medical Questions]

Most people on these forums are not vets.
** Any answers or diagnosis we make are educated guesses based on either research or experience.
** Rely ONLY on a vet to give you an ACCURATE diagnosis and treatment for potentially serious problems.
** If it looks as if your dog’s sick or injured, Do Not hesitate! Take your dog to the vet.
** Do Not wait for someone to tell you to take your dog the veterinarian if it has a problem.
I have seen an increasing amount of people who have done this.
Some cases were fatal because people did not take their animals to the vet until told to.

Question
My 2 year old teacup will pee and poop anywhere and everywhere.  She will go in her bed, so how can I crate train her?  She will use clothing, rugs, or even just the harwood floor, we don't have carpet.  Some times she will use the piddle pad.  She will pee outside sometimes, but not poop.  Sometimes she will do it in plain sight and sometimes she will hid behind the coffee table.  How can I train her to go outside?  Please, I have contimplated on getting rid of my baby because I can't live in the filth anymore, but I love her so much!

Answer
Kasey,

What's so sad about this story is that there are hundreds, or more people who are in the same situation as you, and many chose to get rid of them because of it.
The answer is out there, but it is difficult to get it too work on small dogs, for some reason.
Confining her to a small area, like in an exercise pen, will give you some relief on the everywhere situation.
The how often is another focus. It maybe that her bowels, or bladder are to small to wait for very long.
Maybe take her out more often then you do already.
Get a tie out and hook her up, sit and watch her until she has dome her business, which is what I have to do with mine, she is too excited to run back into the house, that she cuts her self off to go back in. Maybe if she knows she is going to be out there for a while she will finish completely.

I hope this helps you out.

sincerely
crystal
