Question I had unprotected sex during my fertile time multiple times. I resorted to taking the morning after pill. I'm not sure of the chances of it working correctly because of my situation. I had unprotected sex for 2 weeks. The first day of my last period was October 13th and lasted 6 days. So if my calculations were correct i wasn't ovulating until somewhere between the 24th and the 28th. The last day i had unprotected sex was the 24th and I took the morning after pill on the 25th.. Today 6 days later I started bleeding out of nowhere, I felt like I wet my pants, I thought that i did. It came out quickly right when I woke up and got out of bed. I've been reading that it could be the egg implanting itself to the uterus, that may cause spotting. But then it also says that you may bleed and have clots from the pill. I had one pencil tip sized blood clot. Which isn't too incredibly abnormal for me. I called the doc but didn't really get any answers. Should I just wait.. If i took a test now I don't think It would show if I was indeed pregnant.
Answer Rizza,
At this point, only time will tell. Your calculations for your fertile time look reasonably accurate. Implantation spotting can occur, but given that you did take a morning after pill, it's also possible that the pill caused it. In the case of implantation spotting, it typically isn't much spotting, but may only be noticeable on tissue.
At this point, it's too soon to take a test, so I'd give it about another 2 weeks before taking one if your next period doesn't arrive first.
