Question
Hello,

Well, I am 5 weeks pregnant per the ultrasound as of May 28th. The doctor kepts saying I was really early and there wasn't even movement yet. My last period started either 2/17 or 2/18. I have a normal cycle give or take 1-2 days. Meaning, the trend from December to Jan. to Feb. was that my period was coming 1-2 days early. I had sex WITH a condom with no breakage or known issue on the evening of 2/23 (1-2 days after my period ended as I only have a 4 day menstration)with guy #1. Then I had several encounters of unprotected sex using the pull-out method from 2/10 until the time I found out I was pregnant with guy #2. Based on the condom and the due date calculators I used I'm 99% sure it's guy #2's child but I'd like to hear an experts opinion. Can you help?

Answer
Mary,

You're correct.  There's little chance that #1 is the father since it's highly unlikely that you would have ovulated only 2 days after your cycle stopped, especially with a condom that didn't break.

Ovulation normally occurs about 11-14 days before your next cycle starts, which means that #2 is the father.

Catherine
