Childbirth/Probably Paternity Of My Baby

Question
alright well.
I'm 28 weeks pregnant with a beautiful baby boy, and recently Ive been having doubts as to who the father of the baby is.
On Sept 20, 2007, Me and My fiance were on the splitz. I had protected intercourse.
This was also the first day of my period.

Now, Between October 7th and October 12th. Me and my fiance were back together, and had unprotected intercourse about 7 times. My periods are very irregular, but I'm guessing I was ovulating sometime during that stretch.

I have some information, that might be helpful in you answering my question :

-I got a negative pregnancy test on October 20th, but a positive pregnancy test on October 24th.
-I got a blood test on October 28th, and my hormone level was 550.
-I had an ultrasound done at approx. 10-12 weeks, and my estimated due date, was July 6th.

Now I'm hoping you can give me some peace of mind.
I feel absolutely terrible for doing that to my fiance, and we would both be heart broken if it was not his child, I don't even know if I could look at the child.
But based on the information I have, I'm pretty confident that the baby is his. I just need a second opinion I guess.

Thank You For Your Time :)

Answer
Sarah,

You're correct.  Your fiance is the father.  There is little to no chance that you were ovulating on the first day of your period.  However, since ovulation normally occurs about 14 days before the end of your cycle, the timing of intercourse with your fiance corresponds with the days you were most likely ovulating.

The numbers you've given also support that your fiance is the father.

Best,
Catherine
