Question
hi i had a drunken one night stand with someone other than my partner on 22/04/08. i then went on to have a normal period on the 24/04/08, (throught this whole time i was having regular intercorse with my boyfriend). i found out on the 19/05/08 that i was pregnant through my doctor but it was a very faint positive. i am now 22+1 weeks pregnant and am very concerned that maybe this baby could well be the result of the one night stand (it doesnt matter either way as i am now seperated from my boyfriend). from what i have worked out that i am likely to have concieved around the beginning of may, please offer me your advise as it would be very much appreciated, who do you think is most likely to be the father of my child, is there still a posibility that my baby could be the other guys? thank-you

Answer
Debra,

If you had a normal period after your one-night stand, then the baby isn't his, but is your boyfriend's child.  According to the dates you gave, you most likely conceived around May 8.  The chance that the baby is from the one night stand is pretty much 0%.

Best,
