Hi Dorothy,
Thank you so much for your response. One thing is still not clear. You mentioned that ultrasound is very accurate, especially with late ovulation or an irregular cycle. The fact that the first ultrasound measured the baby at 6 weeks, 1 day, instead of 6 weeks, 5 days (since my last lmp), can this be attributed to a 32 day cycle, hence the 4 extra days, or can the ultrasound at 6 weeks be off by that many days? Thanks again for your patience!
Hi Kaitlin,
A 1st trimester ultrasound is generally accurate within 3 days.
The ultrasound may have been off by 1-3 days and your cycle was also off by 1-3 days, adding up to a 4 day difference.
