Question
Hi, I am 14 days past ovluation, with a continued high BBT, but negative pregnancy tests. We use the withdrawl method. I was using progesterone cream during my leutal phase and stopped it. Could I be pregnant?
Hi Cat,
96% of all women will have enough HCG to show a positive pregnancy test by 14 days after ovulation. If you know for sure when you ovulated and you tested with first morning urine, you are probably not pregnant. Give it another 2-3 days and if you don't get your period by then, take another test; if it is still negative, then I think you can rest easy that you are not pregnant.
If you don't get your period in a week and are still testing negative, give your gynecologist a call.
