Childbirth/when did I ovualate

Question
QUESTION: My period was on started 04/04/08 in that month when did I ovualate.

ANSWER: Anna

The answer will depend upon the average length of your cycles.  Ovulation typically occurs about 14 days before the start of your next period.

This means that if you have a 28 day cycle, you typically ovulate around day 14.  If you have a 35 day cycle, you'd typically ovulate around day 21.

So, if you have an average cycle of 28 days and your period started on 4/4/08, then you most likely would have ovulated around 4/18/08.  You can adjust this date to match your cycle lengths by counting back about 14 days from the start of your next period.

QUESTION: could it have been possible to get pregnant on 04/13/08 right after my period..? My periods are regular..

Answer
Anna,

This would depend on the typical length of your cycle.  If your cycles are less than 28 days apart, or you have a longer than average luteal phase (the time between ovulation and your next cycle), then yes, it's possible that you could have ovulated that early in your cycle.
