Answer
Kenny,

90% of couples achieve pregnancy within 18 months.  Also, intercourse must be well-timed within the two days before she ovulates for the best chances of conception.

If it's been less than a year of trying with well-timed intercourse, then there isn't yet reason to be alarmed.

To improve your chances of conception, make sure you are having intercourse in the two days prior to her ovulation.  If she has irregular and/or long cycles, it can be difficult to determine when this occurs.  She might want to start charting her fertility signals to help know when her fertile time is coming.  For more information, she can visit www.fertilityfriend.com
