Question
I was just wondering if my dr is right about my conception date. I had an u/s on 11/3 dating me at 10.5 wks, 11/14 12.2 wks, 11/20 12.6 wks, 12/18 16.5 wks and 12/23 as being very close to 18 wks, I should have been 17.6 wks. My dr said my conception date was 9/4-9/6. My last cycle was unknown,

Answer
The dates your doctor gave you lines up with the dates given by the ultrasounds.  A 1st trimester ultrasound is generally accurate within +/- 3 days, and a 2nd trimester u/s is generally accurate within 7 days, so it's not uncommon to see an u/s giving you slightly different dates, especially as you progress through your pregnancy.

I am also a mom of five children, and have various birth experiences myself, including unmedicated birth and a cesarean.
