Question
I just went to the Dr. today & had a ultrasound done, it showed that I am 7wks & 4days pregnant.  I am trying to figure out when I conceived. My last period was Jan.15th-21st 2010.  The problem is that I had sex w/my ex husband & the current man I'm dating & I'm concered w/who the father is.  I had sex w/my ex on Jan.7th, but he didn't ejaculate in me, then I had sex w/my bf on Jan. 13,15,16,20,24,26,27-some of those times he did ejaculate inside of me. I then had sex w/my ex on Feb.1 & 6th-neither time he ejacualted in me.  Im very embarrased as I feel I should be about the question I'm asking, I am truly just looking for some professional guidance on who the probable father is.  I normally get my period the same time every month give or take a day or two. My period in Dec. came around the 14th.  Please let me know if you can help me.

According to both your ultrasound and your LMP, you ovulated around January 28, with a +/- 3 day accuracy, which means you ovulated between January 25-Jan 31.


Looking at when you had sex, there is a high probability that you conceived with your boyfriend, because that lines up better with the dates you likely conceived, and you had more sex with him, and he ejaculated.

However, because there is a possibility that if you ovulated Jan 31, and the egg lived for 24 hours that you could have gotten pregnant Feb 1, so I can't say with certainty that your bf is definitely the father. But I do think that your bf is most likely the father.

I'm sorry I can't be more definite.
