Hi i would like some advise please me and and my husband would like to try for baby 3 but had been advised on the operating table of baby number 2 not to have any more. this was due to baby number 1 being a emergency c section after having pre eclampsia and then baby number 2 being emergency c section for rupturing my 1st c section scar and coming into my body cavitity. The surgeons also had trouble delivering as i had bad scar adhesion and attachment and trauma to my bladder. I would like to know the risks of going for baby 3 or would i be mad to want to try after the last 2 being very traumatic births?

Your first birth being traumatic was a situation connected with that particular pregnancy.  It's the uterine rupture with your second pregnancy that would be the concern for any subsequent pregnancies.

As far as the risk to you and your potential baby, it depends on exactly what was the damage to your uterus.

I would suggest that you take your medical records and set up an appointment with a Maternal-Fetal Specialist (not the doctor you saw for your pregnancies, but another doctor who is not affiliated with your first doctor at all)to discuss your exact situation and go over the risks for your particular situation.  Then you and your husband can sit down and go over the potential risks and make a decision about what you want to do as far as an additional pregnancy.
