Childbirth/how to get pregnancy

Question
hi
which time of sexual intercourse is suitable to get pregnant, the day before or after the period days?

Answer
Most women ovulate approximately 14 days BEFORE they get their period.  So if a woman has a 28 day cycle, she will ovulate on Day 14.  If she has a 30 day cycle, she will ovulate on Day 16, etc.

Sperm can usually live around 3 days (sometimes a day or two longer) and the egg can live 24 hours.

So if a woman has a 28 day cycle, the most likely days for intercourse to result in conception is Day 11-15 of her cycle.

If she has a 30 day cycle, the most likely days would be Day 13-17.

If she has a 32 day cycle, the most likely days would be Day 15-19.

If she has a 25 day cycle, the most likely days would be Day 8-12.

So for most women, right in the middle between periods is when she is most likely to get pregnant.

Sincerely,

Childbirth
