Question
QUESTION: "Hello, My wife is 9 months 3 days pregnent. Still there is no labour pains. Can you please advice any natural ways to get labour pains please"

ANSWER: Sreenivasulu,

The best course of action is to wait and let labor start on its own.  Time is the best method as babies know when they are ready to be born.  There is no need to force them out when they're not yet ready.  The average length of a first pregnancy worldwide is 41 weeks, 4 days, so your baby may just need a few more days to grow and develop before it's ready to be born.

If she is approaching 42 weeks with no sign of the baby, then it may be time to discuss natural ways to induce labor, an overview of which can be found at http://www.givingbirthnaturally.com/natural-ways-to-induce-labor.html

QUESTION: But i am from india and the Gynic says after 40 weeks its not safe and baby can develop complications and adviced us to come to labor so she can give gel to start the labour.

Answer
Sreenivasulu,

Research supports that women can safely carry their babies without induction until 42 weeks, not 40 weeks.  It is your right to refuse an induction if you do not want it.  If she is experiencing signs of complications, and natural induction is preferable, the link I provided previously explains many natural ways to induce labor:
