I saw AMC back in 1997 and there were 2 songs that were used a few times, for example: the montage when Pierce left Brooke, something like "i never dreamed that love was true but i found out when i lost you" and i couldn't find it. I remember that the other song was used once when Laura and Scott spent time together, it said something like this :"i love only you the safest place i have ever been was in your arms".

I "might" be able to help you with one of them.  I am refering to the song that was played when Brooke and Pierce danced before he walked out of the door to leave to search for his daughter.  As a matter of fact, I still have scene  saved on VHS tape!)  I just LOVED that song!  =)  If it is the one...Laura was at the top of the stairs watching them dance with tears on her face....I do hope that is it.  The name of the song is SERENADE TO SPRING by SECRET GARDEN.  That was the most beautiful waltz I have ever seen!  =)
The other song I am sorry to say, I don't know.
