Chimney & Fireplaces/Converting propane fireplace to wood

Question
I am a realtor and a client of mine fell in love with a log home, however, the double sided stone fireplace was built for propane.  He wants wood.  Can it be converted? It's on an inside wall between the living room and den.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Diane, with out seeing it I can't tell but I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have and let you know if you can go back to wood
hope it works out
