Question
We have always heated our home with a wood stove.  Recently we had a propane furnace installed, which also heats our water.  Both the propane furnace and wood stove are in the basement. Is it safe to continue to burn the wood stove, along with the propane furnace?

Answer
Hello Mary, you can not mix liquid and solid flues in the same flue so you can not put both units in to the same air channel in the chimney if they are in 2 different flues you are fine (If they are ok, sized right and have been checked. You can not "run only one at at time".
hope this helped
