Question
Hi James "
i e-mailed you on the 22nd  and just got chance to read your reply.(thank you) been working few hours why took me awhile. you can refresh your self with my post on the 22nd. i can run a 2nd pipe up that flue there is no ash door to crawl space and that would concern me some being that the oil burner is down there and i hear alot about negative pressure. i was thinking i could run ethere this 4 inch galvanized pipe i have or what i think is a good deal on this 3inch pellet stove vent pipe i can use as clean air instaed.or the 4 in flex pipe as the clean air.what ever you think would be best?all i would need to know once i get to the top how should i run the 2 pipes. keeping in mind id like to still use the stainless steel cap. So you don't think having the 2 flues under one cap would be and issue without putting a divider in center to split the 2 flues under that cap?   thanx Dale Derosier

Answer
Hello Dale, I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have. each unit must be in its own flue, fresh air may not pull down a chimney, you must follow you installation introductions for the  pellet stove. I never baffle a cap as that can act as a wind deflector and send wind right down a chimney.
