Question
Purchased App. 32bw w/ flex SS insulated to the top. After local chimney sweep cleaned it. I took a mirror to look up the pipe and observe their work. The pipe had detached. Do not trust them to repair. Can I do it? How? Should I have installer (1 hour away, gas was $4.00/gal then) come down?

Hello Charles, I would call them back and watch them this time. "Could you do it your self"? Not sure what happened but you could go up and take a look, most systems use hose clamps connectors and should not be to hard to figure out. If you have the install instructions (manufacturer's home page would have them) you might just get lucky. Be careful on roof and with liner, as they are very sharp.
