Question
we have a gas fire on the wall their was a an open fire there before, use of the chimney is it true that you will have to have it lined because it is apparently shared with the neighbours. If so what is lining, how do you install it and how much may it cost

Answer
Hello Denise, I am not sure what you are describing or asking? do you have gas logs in an existing fireplace that you are wondering if you need lined? I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they can get you a price for relining if you need it.
