Question
QUESTION: The bottom of the firebox surface has crumbled and the tiles have come loose.  Can I replace the tiles with something that just one piece.?

ANSWER: Hello is this a masonry fireplace? Pre-fab? I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have.
