I have a propane fireplace model#adl36p with afan that will not shut off. I kicked the breaker because even after unplugging it it was making a clicking noise. I've been trying to find a repair manual on line. I have no model # on the fan kit just a line under the fireplace model # stating optional fan kit fan 5 may be used with this model The previous owner of the house did not leave the instruction booklet. Can you help me find a repair manual?

Hell Janeen, did you contact the manufacturer? do you live in a condo unit if so some one in the units might have a copy of the manual.
do not use this unit until it is fixed it could cause a fire.
I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have.
