Question
Hello,

We are having problems with our fireplace not projecting heat. Once we turn the
gas on and really get the fire going, we turn down the gas, and still cannot feel
the heat from about 8 feet away. Any advice?

Answer
Hello Beth, you do not say if your fireplace is a masonry or Pre-fab, if you have a blower or if you ever got heat and it just stopped. it can be lot's of things
I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have.
find out if what you have is working correctly and go from there gas is not a real good heat producer
