Question
Hello.  I have recently installed an Hampton HI305 wood burning insert into my masonry fireplace.  The question is....do I leave the fresh air intake vent along the inside of the fireplace open or closed??
Thanks.

Answer
Hello Georgina, what does the owners manual state? with out the owners manual I would not install or use that insert. I would also have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have to be sure it is installed correctly and safe to use?
