Question
I have a Desa propane fireplace V136NCL serial number 3709. My question is
what is the appropriate pipe to use for this fireplace. I am talking about the
chimney pipe. It was installed in my house using 4 inch regular dryer vent
sheet metal pipe. It also has a 90 degree turn 4 feet above the box and then
runs out 16 feet on a horizontal before exiting the side of house.
What is your opinion of this insatllation. Oh and it gives off major heat up the
front of the unit.

Hi Tom,

You would need to consult your owner's/installation manual on specifics on this installation.  Single Wall Dryer vent piping is not appropriate.
