Question
We have a wood burning fireplace with a natural stone face.  I installed a metal/glass fireplace front that has resulted in gaps between the irregular surface of the stone and the straight edge of the metal frame of the glass front.  Where can I get that black fiberglass/foam that is used to seal between the two surfaces?  I have seen it in the past, and it is about 1 inch by 1.5 inches and sold in a role I think.  I just need about 8 feet worth of this stuff. Or can you tell me the name of it, so I can search Google for it?   Thanks in advance for your help.

Any fireplace shop that sells glass doors will be able to help with that. If you have no fireplace shop near by, "Google" fireplace glass doors and any Internet sales company will be able to provide you with this. Thanks for asking and good luck.
