Question
HI,
I have an oil fireplace (the tank of oil) with a stainless steel chimney, i was
wondering if i can replace the fireplace with a woodburning one. Can i still
use the stainless steel chimney?

Provided the the liner is an all fuels liner yes. I would recommend and NFPA-211 will require a level II inspection when you change fuels. Find a qualified inspector using the links at the bottom of my home page at www.brooks-hearth.com. Good luck.
