Chimney & Fireplaces/Small Fireplace Opening: What Can I Install?

Question
What make + model woodstoves or wood fireplace inserts  might actually fit these dimensions?

Have two really small coal fireplaces and chimneys; the cast iron grating hearth openings are 21 7/8" H x 18" W x 7" D. (Yes, there's as much as 28" H, and 22" W if I break out the cast iron, but...)

(There's a gas line to one, so an insert which can use wood or gas would also be nice.)

Also, if wood stoves do exist for the fireplace opening dimensions above, what kind of enclosure/cap do I need for the opening, what kits, if any, are available, and do I need anything more than stovepipe beyond the damper into the tile lining area?

Answer
Barry,

You may look into a hearth stove for you small fireplace opening. Regency hearth products has a model that might fit, www.regency-fire.com. Naturally, other manufactures may have a unit as well, but I of only Regency. You can use the link at the bottom of my home page and find an NFI certified wood-burning specialist. Good luck.
