Question
I am installing a vented propane fireplace in a TEMO sunroom which is constructed of 3 inch styrofoam sandwiched between vinyl sheets, am using double wall pipe and a wall thimble to go through the wall which should be sufficient but am concerned about the heat coming from the vent affecting the exterior wall. Are you familiar with an installation like this? Am I doing the right thing? What are the temperatures that vented gases reach?

Earl,

Your venting system will offer a component piece for breaching a wall with vinyl siding. If you are using "Dura Vent," "Amerivent," or other listed manufacture, check with them for this part. It will be no issue if you have all the right stuff. Good luck.
