Question
Hi James.  I have a superior fireplace and the  back refractory has a large
opening in it as of yesterday.  The hole is approximently 1" wide by 3" tall.  Is
there danger in burning wood until I can get a new back refractory?  Also, we
cannot read the model number on the tag but, can still read the fireplace
number.  Is there website to find the model by the number?  Any help would
be appreciated.  Thanks Dale

Answer
Hello Dale, DO NOT USE THIS FIREPLACE until it is repaired. try contacting Superior and I  I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they  might even be able to find the panels and replace them.
Keep me posted
James
