Chimney & Fireplaces/Gas Fireplace burning more on one side than the other

Question
Hello Steve,

My gas fireplace burns perfectly on one side but the other side has flames only about 2 inches when the gas is turned all the way up. The other side is about 8 inches. I cleaned everything from under the gas distribution pipe but it is still about the same.

Appreciate any ideas.

Thanks, Gary

Answer
The only thing that I can suggest to do is to remove all the logs and put them back in as shown in the fireplace manual. If the logs are not set in correctly this can affect the burning of the fireplace. If this is something that you don't feel comfortable with then please call a fireplace technician to come in and do it/check the fireplace as well.

Hope this helps.
