Question
Hi,
I purchased a Napoleon woodburning stove and now I'm shopping for a chimney system.
What is the advantage of a double wall stove pipe over a single wall pipe? Won't there be a bigger heat loss with a double?
Are products I can buy at Menards or Lowes sufficient enough or should I go to brands like Duratech? My budget is limited and that is why I'm so concerned.

Good question and thanks for asking. The installation manual included with your new Napoleon stove will dictate what type of chimney required for a safe installation. Depending on the location of the unit of your stave will dictate the requirement for double wall pipe as a connector. The requirement for class "A" pipe HT will stand regardless. Best of luck.
