Question
How do you build a chimney for a log fire up to first floor on one side of a wall and then liner flue for a wood burner on the other side of the wall so that it shares the same and chimney and then goes up in the same flue .

Answer
Hello Harry, check with your local building department I do not know what the law is in South Africa but here in  the USA you can not install 2 wood burning any thing in to the same flue or have entry points on 2 serrate floors. you would have to build 1 chimney with 2 separate flues and  keep the separate to the top
