Have a defective metal ash trap door. Measurements 11" X 8" outside, and 9" X 6 1/4" inside. Maker stamped on door is: Allied Dealers. Have not been able to locate an Allied Dealer. Can you help?  Thanks

Hello Van, is this the "ash trap door" on the floor of the fireplace? or in the basement for removing the ashes? either way you can replace with any ash dump door that will fit and can be cemented in place.
I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
