Question
I have an older fireplace that was in the home when I bought it, therefore, I am unsure how to take care of it. I have cleaned the chimney but the fireplace continues to smoke when the damper is open. It says Super Series on the door. I looked this up but was not able to find adequate information. It did talk about an insulation cover-I am wondering if this could relate to the smoking problem. Any info about this would be extremely helpful, this is our source of heat during the winter months.

The only "Super Series" I am aware of is made by "Pacific Energy" I believe this comes in both free standing or insert. You can google search for them or call at 1-888-223-0088. Please feel free to use the links at the bottom of my home page at www.brooks-hearth.com to find a qualified service person, sweep and inspector.
