Question
Hi Randy,
I bought a used insert from a friend of mine, and I am having a hard time finding a way to hook a chimney liner to the back of the stove. It has a 11 5/8" wide x 4 1/8" high x 4 3/4" deep chimney hook up on the back of the insert. I think what I need is a insert boot, but I can't find one that will work. what do you suggest. I have not bought the liner yet.

The stove should have a listing label posted somewhere on the unit. This label will tell you the name of the manufacture and the model number of the unit. The oval shaped boot you are requiring is a listed component of this stove. only a part made by the manufacture of the stove has been tested for safety with this stove. Contact the manufacture and order the part. If the manufacture is no longer in operation or no longer supports this insert, you are out of luck on the safe install.
