I cleaned my double lined chimney pipe over the summer.After the third day of burning, liquid creosote ran from the joints of the pipe that exit the stove and turn a 90 degree angle to enter the flu.Why does this happen and what can I use to remove this creosote from the burner and the stone surrounding the burner.

If you only swept the insulated class "A" chimney and not the connector pipe as you have described, the increased flow efficiency of the class "A" pipe increased the flue gas temperature of the whole system including the connector pipe. This will cause the creosote to liquify and run. If you are seeing this on vertical joints of the connector pipe, its installed upside down, as if it were as required, male end down the debris would be contained inside. I recommend a professional look at your system and advise concerning the advanced build up.
