Question
we have the heatilator firebox, it was sitting up off the floor than we had a water issue and now I'm concern maybe if it has insulation inside, did it get wet? the water didn't get high enough to get in the vent, but maybe around the bottom. that was a year ago and we are ready to have it reinstalled. should I be concerned?

Answer
Hello Becky, not sure if it got wet or not but it should be dry by now. you can also call the manufacture and I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
Hope this helps
James
