Question
Hi James.  I have a Heatilator natural gas fireplace model GNDC30E.  Recently, it has not been working.  When you turn on the switch, it ignites fine, but then after 4 or 5 seconds it shuts off, the same way it does if it doesn't ignite for another reason.  After it does ignite, you can still hear the igniter clicking.  I have looked underneath and even vacuumed the dust out.  I also unplugged it and plugged it back in, hoping to reset something.     One of the stickers says that there is a safety shut off valve with a manual reset switch .I haven't been able to locate it yet.

Do you know if there is anything that I can do myself to try to fix it?

Chris
