Chimney & Fireplaces/Blackened glass doors

Question
Hi
We burn would in a Kozy Heat fireplace.  Is there anyway to prevent our glass
doors from turning black?  It would be nice to see our fire burning for more than
a couple of days after cleaning the glass.
Thank you so much for any help!

Answer
Hello Lynn, you can contact Kozy and ask them? also in most cases it is an air adjustment or burning the fireplace hotter?
The system might be dirty?
You could have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
