Chimney & Fireplaces/face plate/surround for fireplace insert

Question
I have a large fireplace that we are looking to install a woodburning insert in. The problem I am finding is the face plate or surround will have to be 57"w x 40.5"h due to the stonework surrounding the opening.  Do you know if surrounds come in that size or anyone who makes custom sizes?

Answer
Hello Debbie, I would contact your local wood stove store, they might have some one who can help modify the insert the way you need to do. you might also try a free standing stove with a full plate inn the fireplace opening with just the smoke pipe going through.
also I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have to make sure the fireplace is ok to use for a wood stove/insert.
