Chimney & Fireplaces/kitchen exhaust vented out through chimney flue

Question
Hello James,
I recently had my kitchen exhaust vented out and the handyman did it through chimney flue and not directly through the roof.
But I read on this website NEVER USE CHIMNEY FLUE TO VENT CLOTHS DRYER, KITCHEN / BATHROOM VENT

http://www.checkthishouse.com/chimney-flue-furnace-water-heater-venting.html

How true is that?

Thanks?
jaya

Answer
Hello Jaya, very true and very dangers, I would have a local Certified Chimney Sweep (www.csia.org, there you can look up by zip code to find one near you) take a first hand look at what you have they should be able to help.
the set up you have could be deadly
