Question
I am looking for a used stove to have installed in the fireplace of my small cabin (750sqft). I would have this professionally installed. What stove features and or fireplace measurements should I be considering? I have seen a couple of Regency 1100 stoves for sale locally here in So. California. Would this type of stove be a good choice?

Answer
Les,

You can do your home work at www.regency-fire.com. They will have the specs and installation requirements you will need to do the job correctly. The #FS-1100 is a good unit, but it does have limitations as you will read about. Regardless of what unit you find, make certain that it is modern enough to have available installation instructions and follow them exactly. Good luck.
