Chimney & Fireplaces/one-sided wood burning fireplace to double

Question
We currently have a one-sided wood-burning fireplace.  We would like to turn it into a double-sided fireplace.  Do you know what that would involve, where we can find a double-sided unit?

Answer
Hello Shawna, if it is a pre fab unit  you would have to replace every thing (chimney included) if they make one. as far as masonry goes it might not work as the fireplace was sized to one side opening and a double would be to big for the flue (air chancel) and it will smoke badly
sorry
