| Comment | Wow, quick response. The wood stove insert is not intalled according to current requirements. There is no stovepipe run up off of the stove-- the opening on top of the insert vents into the firebox. Would connecting a stovepipe/ liner and running it to the top of the chimney actually help in heating the house? Besides the lack of a stovepipe, everything else is fine with the installation. The stove insert is a Glacier Bay-- the company was bought out or is out of business. I would guess that it is about 15 years old. There's a slot for a blower, but there is no blower installed.
