Question
I have a Temco wood burning fireplace and would like to remove it and replace with a Harmon coal stove, My question is whether or not I can use the existing Temco double walled chimney with the Harmon.

Thank You!

Answer
Hello Paul, no you can not use that pipe for coal. and I can almost bet you wont get just the fireplace out and leave just the pipe, it sits on top of the fire box.In order to install a coal stove you would have to remove the fire box, all the pipe and flashing/cap. then find a pipe that the manufacturer states will work with their stove and install that piping system top to bottom.
