Question
We have a Welcome Dover Stove. It has a standard oval-shaped exit but no flue. We were told that a standard 135mm round pipe could be "squashed to fit" the exit. What is the standard fitting? I can't seem to find any further info on the net, and was wondering if you knew of a better (or the original way)and more aesthetically pleasing method of constructing the flue, bearing in mind that the chimney will require two 90degree bends to get past an overhead roof beam. Obviously we want it to work correctly!

Answer
Hello Melody, hard to say with such an old stove with out original manual, but a 6" x 10" oval would be an 8" round. you will want to keep the pipe/flue as straight as possible. you might want to check with your local building department, or a local contractor.
