| Comment | Thanks for your suggestion, James, but I already have a top mount damper/cap in place. The mineral wool is just another layer of defense against drafts. I was hoping to cut out the middle man (Chimney Sweep) to get the smallest amount of wool possible to save a few bucks and do it myself. Another girlfriend is willing to go halfs, so it would be even cheaper. www.Truesoundcontrol.com has Auralex - $120/box of 6 2x4x2" panels, but we don't need that much. Have any idea who would have smaller amounts for sale? | ||
